After the talk at Chuo University in Tokyo, I received the written feedback from some of the students. I am pleased to find out they felt the talk useful and relevant to their endeavors at this stage, which is exactly what I hope to achieve with this trip.

The lecture was at Kyoto University. It is foreseeable that most of the future politicians, scientists and entrepreneurs will come from these great institutions in the world. The future world will be in their hands. If they embrace peace and altruistic aspiration, there is hope for the world.

Yesterday, July 12, 2017, was the first commencement of Serthar Professional School. Khenrinpoche was at the ceremony to confer diplomas to the graduates, with special guest Khenpo Sodargy also in attendance. A joyful occasion!

Wisdom is the other side of affliction. It’s really very simple—just perceive; nothing more needs to be done.

While giving lecture and holding discussion at the University of Tokyo, I realized that the attendees would like to know more about the Buddhist way of training the mind, whereby they hope people can maintain mental health in this modern era and derive benefit in the course of self-development.
